Please feel free to post this flier in your local shop. PM me with your email and I can send you a PDF of the file.

If you cannot attend this event I will be coordinating another event on February 3rd. We will most likely be working the Shortcut Canyon Trail but not 100% sure.

I was going to write something scathing...for now I will just leave it at this. Where are the shuttle monkeys helping to give back to the mountain (Mt Wilson) we all love so much?

And big THX to those that are helping, it is a cool trail that needs some help.

Now now Dean :) Keep your blood pressure low. We don't want to start a flame war. I have shuttle monkeyed in the Angeles before. Twice we shuttled from Three Points to Chantry via the Silver Moc, and were called The Epic Shuttlers because of it.

I wonder who would have called you such a thing?8-[

Hans and I went and rode Valley Forge today to do a little pre-work survey. There are a few sections that need some critical attention.

There was a big slide, about 20' wide, that will need to be carefully removed. I say carefully, as it may not have fully settled yet.

Other needed work will be cutting back and/or removing some yuccas (they're growing fast right now!), some water diversion work, and some wind debris (branches that have fallen across and along the trail).

It's a really fun trail, and the new slide will put a damper on it's 'flow' if not taken care of, so that will likely be the big project for Sunday.

Wow Liz, didn't realize you were still hurting from that puncture. Bummer you were the only one not suffering from the pain of the ride last weekend, just the pain of the puncture. :?:
