If you had to pick what would be your top 3 trails to ride?

The reason I asked this because I have less than a month left in LA. so I want to hit up the good spots before I move. Thanks!

I rode Hurkey Creek for the first time last month. I thought it was a fantastic ride on my rigid SS, but there is something for everyone. My family is going again next week. If you haven't ridden up there, I would suggest checking it out up there before you move.

Might help to tell us your riding style and if you're into a 'road trip' before you go...

For AM/Trail style riding; my goto's
    - Santiago Oaks/Whiting Luge = for local fun SHORT
    - Maple Springs t peak, down Joplin = for local fun LONG
    - Fully Loop = for the riding buddy fun and food after
    - SART (from the top to the BOTTOM via Morton Peak) and SJT including the loop = shorter than road trip driving...

Edit: need a shout out to Sycamore Canyon - there is some great playground fun to be had there...

If I said then more people would be on them and then they would not be much fun
Hummingbird is freeway close to all of the So Cal Bight and will put a smile on your face. While your there try the G spot for BIG photo op air.
I don't ride it much but it is FUN. Caution it climbs IMMEDIATLY so no warm ups here
    Happy Trails

    I agree with Garrett

Orange County represents when it comes to Mountain Biking. You'll have a great ride at any of these spots.
    San Juan trail
    Whiting/STT Luge
    Laguna

    - Blackstar: From start to finish, you would never know you are in the middle of OC. You cannot see any signs of civilization other than the towers. The secluded hidden valley is a gem that greets you after a long arduous climb. I always take a few moments there to soak it in before climbing up to the gate.

    - Santiago Oaks/Weir: Love the challenge of the 3 B's. So many trails down to and from the canyon. Added bonus is the new chute.

    - El Morro: I am not particularly fond of the trails for some reason even though the view of the ocean is breathtaking, but on hot summer days, it's always rideable there.
