Going to Oahu at the beginning of September. Planning on riding a few trails there too.

Then Vegas for Interbike at the end of September.

Summer vacation? What is that? My summer has contained the following activities: Summer school 4 days a week + work 5 days a week = no fun for Mike. Lol.

I'm going to try and sneak away for 2 days next week to head out to Laughlin to visit my grandma and hopefully enjoy the river a bit.

Hope everyone is having more fun then I am.

Well, my summer strted with the "Spring Fling", and has been going great since then. Lots of riding. Utah was good, but Iowa was more fun this time. NorCal is and always is a blast. Still going to Tahoe & Mammoth. Looking at doing CO, if something comes up.

So far I planned on riding these trails.

    http://trails.mtbr.com/cat/united-states-trails/trails-hawaii/PRD_167687_4543crx.aspx

I'm staying in Hauula(North Shore) so this is in my backyard. We got a private cottage right on the beach. Check out the rental :)

I was also going to check out Laie falls.

I'll definitely be down for some more technical stuff if you are up for it.

I'm staying September 2 through the 10th. Camping the first 3 days. We should also have a jeep for exploring :D

Let me know what trails you know about. What kind of bikes did you find for rent up there? I did a little bit of research and I think this place on the North Shore might be the best place to get a decent bike to rent.
http://www.ragingisle.com/ The prices are pretty high though.

Dang......some of you have way too much free time. I usually don't get "summer vacations" or vacations at any time.

THis year the wife and I are doing 4 days in Utah at the end of the month......St. George(Gooseberry Mesa) and Brianhead.

I want to be like Justin and Allison when I grow up. :)

Our summer vacations so far have consisted of McKenzie River Trail in Bend Oregon, Post Canyon in Hood River Oregon, Whistler BC, Downieville, Northstar and Mammoth. Coming soon, Mammoth again and Brian Head.

That's funny! Justin's always asking why I don't take shots as good as some of the guys on MTBR ;) (Lidarman, K-rob, AnthonyS)

Yeah, camera in sequence mode.. then I do some layering in photoshop. I had to look up how to do it and then spend a good amount of time figerring it out.

Remind me or PM me and I'll try to get my cheat sheet instructions posted.

Instead of doing that now, though, I'm really digging animated gifs ;)

haha!! Yeah, those sound like crappy places to visit
