El Morro then down to Crystal Cove State Beach to the BeachComber, right on the sand. Heineken Lights and an outstanding burger 15 yards from breakers.

After a challenging ride at Fully Loop, I like to go to Circle K for $1.09 hotdogs.
    (j/k)

After we (Dean, Scott, Lynn, and I) spent the day riding Thunder Mountain/Cassidy Trail in Utah earler this year, we stopped at this 'hole-in-the-wall' looking diner off the highway. The food there was great! I can't remember what it was called ('Henry's' or Harry's'... something like that).

My last trip to Big Bear it was a Carl's Famous Star, fries and a large Newcastle while riding the chairlift. I missed the "trash target," however. ... SMASH! #-o Next time i'll be sure to bring a can of Dale's Pale Ale instead.

More locally, i think a three-park Laguna ride followed by Taco Loco on PCH is tough to beat.

Right on! Green chili pesto burrito & a margarita at Teocali Tamale. Hurricane Hannah Pizza & Dogfish Head 90 min. IPA on tap at Brick Oven. For the ride I would have to pick Doctor's Park over 401, though. Rode 401 last Tuesday under clear, sunny skies - up Washington Gulch, up and over 403, 401 in its entirety, finish up and over Snodgrass. Made for a nice big ride!

Hmmm, been there twice... the market across the street has way better sandwiches than the pizza joint, plus they don't seem to lose your order like the pizza joint did, both to me and to our local Hellrider, Abui, on two seperate occaisions.

Now that's great news! Thanks for the heads up!

After being in Poison Oak and weedwacking /trimming bushes for a full day, plus doing some trail reroute on the washed out switchbacks at the bottom of the Ken Burton Trail in October 2007 with CORBA, we were rewarded with a dinner at a Mexican restaurant off of Foothill somewhere about/ around La Canada ? or maybe it was La Crescenta? I don't remember the name of it, but the food was pretty good. Maybe Kanga remembers it? I'd go there again in a heartbeat, but the surface streets around there are so convoluted, I don't remember how to get there. I thought it was called Lupes?

Thanks, Hugh. Is your Mom's house open for a meal to all STR riders? ;)

Hmmm.....I don't really have a fav place to ride or dine after.....I think every ride can been spectacular or so so depending on the circumstances....but my fav local eats would be Citrus City Grille in the city of Orange (after a shower of course). You should log onto Yelp.com ;)
