Where are all the ASR-5s? I love mine. 25lbs, with x.7/x.9 components. Itll definitely be on a components diet soon!
Is that thing the cheater bike that everyone says it is? Have you seen Aaron Gwin ripping singletrack on one?
My ASX... My ASX... rips with the Fox 36. Ive gotten much better at pedaling it! Still a tank at 37 pounds, but it was great at Keystone and destroys summit!
My latest love affair...I know I have a problem lol! Large ASRC-5 in white, Orange I-9 wheelset, Conti tread, Joplin 4 seatpost, SRAM XX group, Sunline V-1 745 hbars, Sunline XC1 80mm stem and a 2011 "soon to be released" tapered Revelation RLT Ti 15 qr Maxle Lite fork! My first carbon mountain bike and its a killer weighing in at 25.5 lbs. I've been riding this rig for about 2 months now and have yet to find a legit complaint
I just finished this build over the weekend and here it is ready for it's 1st ride. ASR-Alloy. So far it's weighing in a little over 24 pounds but I still need to replace the fork, stem, and seat post . [/IMG]
herzalot, yea its definitely the cheater bike lol. im lovin it. climbs like a bat outta hell. and descends just as fast. i know there is an str ride happening up at big bear this saturday, and ill be up there. if your headin up and i actually find the group, you can definitely check it out
No Big Bear for me this weekend, but enjoy your 5 and thanks for the offer. They look like a lot of fun, especially if you are aggressive (up or down). Love 1x1Clyde's white one too - but I think he will have to change his handle.
True Dat! I guess having my knee blown apart has put me back on gears which isn't a bad thing but when I have hit the SS its pretty painful still......guess I will just have to keep logging in those "slacker" miles on the carbon squish and gears:lol::lol:
