    thanks pho'd, it works, ltmq. yeah, its a cheap nashbar frame. rides good enough. i put 5 miles of fireroad on it last night, and like 8 of fireroad/single track switchback today after class. well, after having my right wrist broken 2x, and the left 1x, and the right still needing to be re-set, the rigid fork took its toll after only 13 miles. went to the suspension fork. i rode it up the street into the local hills, i like it more. feels like i could put more miles in with that much bump compliance. pics of suspension installed and super speed/endurance sticker.

    Hey Firefighter, what size frame is that? Could you measure the effective top tube length (horizontal from center of head tube to center of seatpost). Hmmm..I might build a budget bike a for a friend.
