Padre, how far up did you go? By the tracks, it looks like there has been more traffic up there than yesterday. Look's like Jake is gonna get a chance to get to Four Corners!
Nice, my friend and I rode it today too.. we didn't even make it up to the guard rail  one of my friends couldn't make it
Very strange: 3200 ft at the Maple Springs guard rail and a good foot of snow. 3000 ft at the clearing above Old Camp today no snow at all. That storm must have stalled in the Silverado Canyon and just dumped. Dean
I headed up Silverado trail w/ the dawgs this morning, after that headed to work and time for 'beers on ice' (5 years running) merry xmas!!
Why not? Guard rail. It was all walking from the end of the pavement anyway. And a crazy black-ice descent too...*phew
Let's ride SART.....not I decided to go check out the snow in the San Bernardinos today. My plan was to take the wife and kids all the way up to Big Bear via Hwy 38. When i got to Angelus Oaks I changed my mind.......even with 16 in. wheels and chains, I was slipping and sliding if I went over 25 mph...........so we stopped just above SouthFork Campground, parked the car, and played in the snow... Angelus Oaks (Elevation 5,800) Chains are required just past the Post Office Hwy 38 about 2 miles after Angelus Oaks SART Trailhead at Jenks Lake Someone put an "X" through the Biking Symbol with a magic marker SouthFork Campground, probably 3 feet of snow here
Cool, it snowed in Palm Desert also, We had to ride up Art Smith to get to the Haun trail. Awesome pic's
