    who's Virginia and why am I talking to her? anyhoo....

    ok, so I just did the strangest thing ever- i gave my last-day notice via email. I mean, I've heard of people getting dumped/divorced via texting, but saying "i'm outta here!" by email is just plain odd.:lol:

    reason: I'm in Wyoming, the boss is in Denver, and I got the phone call while i was in the air.

    so, yes, finally. new job. so much more up my alley than this current POS. no micro-managing boss. flexible hours so that I can still keep coaching the swim team. cheaper/better health care due to the size of the company.

    oh ya- RAISE!!!!!:bang::clap::drunk:

    thanks for all the support when I was down- I know that my "this job sucks" posts may have brought some down, but i also know that they helped others with thoughts of "my life's not too bad, now is it?"

    so, thanks STR! I'll likely be posting less but loving the job more. :beer:

    Congrats

    I just got a new job too. The pay isn't nearly as good, and I don't have benifits anymore. But I LOVE it!!! I'm always glad to hear people are doing well. Good luck with it. Hope it works out well for you. See you on the trail. . . . . . :wave:

    YEa dude I just got my new job as well I started two days ago. Its more money more perks, bonuses, but more traveling. Overall so far I am very happy with the job :bang:. Although I do have to travel to Compton from Costa Mesa. The hardest thing for me was going back to work after my 1 1/2 week vacation.

    I just changed jobs last Sept and love it. My whole life has changed, better money, benefits, less commute (1 mile) and friendlier people.

    The grass is greener... either that or I did not know I was in h*ll.

    Congrats on a new beginning
