Against my doc's orders and against most people's better judgement I went for a mtb ride. Heck it's been 14 days since the hernia repair - that's plenty of time I think. I feel pretty darn good, just a little loose inside when I jump up and down (oops - not sposed to do that either). So here's a strava link to my slowish but kinda fun ride... http://app.strava.com/activities/23934251 Ok don't look at this first one as it grosses me out (my once six-pack abs now look like a 5 gallon growler after several months of riding with intestines poking out then two weeks of couch surfing) Road closed - is it a sign? the warmup ST Sky wuz reel purdy Sum slightly DH ST into the canyon My stoopid luk - musta ben aftur mikie shot me with the trnkelizer dart Summor ST fun... looking across at the mtns I usually ride when not fulla holes Joshua tree skeletons Some nice ST on the way back by Coyote Canyon Up the down ST just because... turnoff to the final ST of the ride - almost done More cool flowy stuff forgot this one from mid-ride ok almost done Ok there's my house - just gotta cut through some more ST to get there Well that was my ill-advised post surgical dirt ride. I've posted shots of this area behind my house before (so hope you don't mind) but it was really pretty today and extra-special being my first ride back (on trails anyway).
When Mira Loma Psych Facility stops by. Don't resist and don't fight 'em. They are your friends. It will just hurt more if you fight. I told them I already hit you with about 100cc's of Phencyclidine from about 75/ 100 yds. Twice! Just relax... they will make e.v.e.r.y.t.h.i.n.g. better......shhhhhh. don't cry. It's okay...
Whatta doc's know anyway? Haha....riding off into the dusty sunset, windmills and konked JTrees...whatta life.
Area looks awful familiar :-k I can't wait for the temps to drop and rain to fall so I can start riding the Chute again. Heal well Dave!
