I figure I should post something before I fill the forums up with my ramblings. I'm a child of the 80's. I was the kid tearing up your grass, riding through the flowerbeds and putting skidmarks on your driveway. I raced BMX in my teens and ruined the heads in our VCR from watching RAD. I rode mostly bmx street/urban stuff until the age of 26 when Specialized came out with the P3. That was my intro into mountain bikes. I've since raced downhill, starting from Novice up to Expert and done a 24-hour at Hurkey. Now, I've got a baby and the time for biking has been limited to the daily work commutes... for now. I'm new to STR but been around since 300 baud modems. That's about it, I might just join you guys if there are STR group rides. Where are the San Diego peeps!
Hahaha... RAD was pretty well, rad when we were kids, hey? I remember seeing it in the theatre and immediately went out and ate sht all over the place. But the damn if I found it again about a year ago and watched it with a few cycling buds... ... man, that flick did not age gracefully. Welcome!
