dang, i was 5 minutes into my ride at fully yesterday and my rear wheel was making a terrible sound. long story short, i got home and took my rear hub apart, and turns out the freehub is toast....to be more exact, one of the 4 pawls broke. :(

i have an XT FH-M775 rear hub an called all my local shops, no one has a freehub body (y3cz98050) in stock, which i figured they wouldnt. anyone know of a shop that MIGHt have one?

jenson has one in the Minnesota warehouse. :( i wanted to ride this weekend too :T

Places I would definitely call are The Path, Newbury Park Bikes, Incycle and maybe Helen's. They are pretty good size shops (or a chain of shops) with lots of repairs going on. There are a few other well stocked bike shops here and there, but it's a crapshoot. Although I have been rewarded many times by being persistent when chasing down such parts. No telling who might have actually one.

Send it back to Shimano, get it covered under warranty, if you have one.

They are cheap anyways, and I agree, not worth the wait when you can get it in a day or two...
