Destroyed my 2 year old XT last night so I thought I'd give this one a try. Any comments out there? Thanks

I have been running the shadow xt rear for a couple of months and like the clearance. It shifts great and is out of the way of harm. The error shimano made is this derailler cannot take up as much chain slack as an equivalent cage sized old style rear derailler.

    I use the Shadow XTR.
Very similar, and I like it just fine.

Have the 772 on my Trek Fuel. No adjustments needed in the 6 months I've been beating it up for. Other than routine maintenance, it's been worry free.

I can't wait to get my hands on the new Saint long cage derailleur. Got to look at one this afternoon and was amazed at the rigidity.

You won't be disappointed. The only company that could make that "crisp" SRAM shifting work better than SRAM is SHIMANO!!!
