XO Shifter Sticking

    On my front deraileur shifter, when I upshift, the lever sticks in that position till I flick it back. What could be causing that and what is the fix? Just had everything installed in Jan and all parts look good!

    Looks closely did you bend it every so slightly and it is catching on the other lever? That happened to me

    Yes, but be careful, you might want to take it off, put it in a vise with a rag and go slow.

    Ohh also check that it is not just loose / moved / skewed on the center post where it connects. Mine is a couple years old, I am assuming the same basic design.
