i flat spotted my WTB front wheel over the weekend on a gnarly root going too fast downhill... the more i look at it, i think the wheel has a hairline crack... I'm going to take it into a shop for their opinion.

If they say its not fixable... what would be a good front replacement wheel for someone on a budget?? i've never bought wheels before... the WTB came stock. I only ride XC and single track but i do enjoy the reward of the downhills...!

Most shops are about 40 bucks labor plus spokes at abotu 50 cents for a standard silver 14 guage spoke, 75 cents for black 14 other spokes vary from there.
