Come to our Holiday light ride. This is a good ride for getting your non rider friends out on a bike.

    Sunday December 20th

We’ll meet at The Path parking lot at 5:15pm and then head out around Tustin (route TBA) on a leisurely ride to see some festive light displays. The ride will end at The Tustin Brewing Company for food, drinks, and holiday merriment. Riders of all ages and skill levels are welcome.

Definately gotta check out Olwyn Street directly across the street from Redhill Lutheran Church. Very impressive.

Beach cruiser friendly? Lights? Commuter or the smaller cat-eye's with a back blinker okay? My kid will be all over this, and since it's the day before MY birthday...hubby can't say no ;)

How many miles, hills, etc. - should the little one rider gears or BMX okay?

    This will be cool!

I'm going to guess beach cruiser friendly. Unless we go up into Lemon Heights, the streets around here are pretty much flat.

A rear blinky light is always a good idea, and a cheap commuter light should be good enough for this type of a kick-back ride.

This is cruiser friendly. It will probably be between 3 and 5 miles, with easy bail out points. I would make sure that the bike is lit up well enough to be visible to cars. Trail level lights will not be necessary. There may be some small hills.

That is definitely in the plan.

Seriously, Tustin has the best light displays this side of Balboa but you don't need a Kayak to see them.
