I would say they are adults they can make their own decision but the kid with the dreads is like 14 or 15. Although the guy they took to medical tent would have still gone regardless of the helmet. He wrecked his ankle.

Any competition that has judges will have some sort of conspiracy attached to it if the mass public doesn't agree w/ the results...Boxing/Olympics etc....

Take the X Games for what they REALLY are....an exhibition of some talented people doing some crazy ass shiat that the masses don't and shouldn't do....

There is NO NEED to get bent out of shape and complain and bitch and argrue on a message board about if the X-Games are fixed or a sham/scam....

That double front flip was worth watching the whole four hours that day!!! I can remember back in the day when Stu Thompson was the big man and a little half pipe was the shiat!!!! That's just freaking amazing.

I can't believe its been 10 years since Tony pulled the 900. That was a sporting event that was truly amazing to watch. I watched every attempt. AWESOME!!! We need more of that!

Any judged event turns into figure skating eventually...

yea x games has been down hill the last few years and has conformed to what's marketable to the masses.

    remember street luge?
downhill BMX? - the most bad ass event ever
    BMX dirt?

they had some cool stuff, but the "X" is no longer relavent, although i do like watching the supermoto.

saw the 70' double front in person, yea, Noplitan didn't even podium, that was the loudest staples got all night, by far, the second loudest was when the judges got booo'd after they scored him, i'm sure if you had any type of comprehension you left staples with a sour fart taste in your mouth. X games is doing a great job shooting themselves in the foot.

enough being nancy, time for some random... as much as i dis-like MTB slopestyle i think it would fit good in with the x games, fruity characters, lots of add space on the course, boy band clothing, and a broad cultural spectrum of competitors, and greenday would be a perfect background music choice to it! My selfish thinking puts the best location for such an even at snow summit, maybe that would spark some interest in getting the park back up for dh.
