    Members of China's armed police demonstrate a rapid deployment during an anti-terrorist drill held in Jinan, capital of east China's Shandong Province July 2, 2008, roughly one month ahead of the Beijing Olympics.

    How nice that those ergonomic chairs can finally be used to shoot firearms :)

    I didn't know you could ride them "no-hands" :lol:

    BTW, they have a factory set limiter to limit the speed to 12.5 mph, but they're capable of more than double that with a hardware hack to bypass the limiter. One has been clocked at 24mph, according to the rolling stone mag from years ago. Good to know I could out-ride one on a bike!

    That must be why they are all using 'pea shooters'. Any bigger gun and the re-coil would send them in reverse should they have to actually fire a shot...

    And I'm sure they all have Stans on their tires, right? A segway with a flat is useless when it comes to fighting terrorism.

    Unknown to the Chinese is that the recoil will spin you in a circle so you can shoot your comrades too.

    If I were the designer of that unit, I would have mounted the guns on the bar. I think the segway is more stable than the rider.

    Those guys just look like a bunch of futuristic black bunnies on wheels. :lol:

    That is the Type 79 Submachine gun chambered in the 7.62 x 25mm that is used by Chinese police.

    :lol::lol::lol::lol:

    Doesn't this have to be the most heavily guarded event in the history of mankind? No doubt they were going to brake out the whoppass ninja Segwag riders! Those guys look like they're straight out of some 60s funkadelic commie scifi movie.

    Seriously though national pride is at stake for all recorded history. Ain't going to be no monkey business tolerated. This is one Olympics best watched in HiDef at home.

    While on the subject - can't wait for the BMX events. That track is going to be awesome!
