They always seem to over hype these weather events.

I predict, though, that we'll all be doing less riding than usual this weekend, and that next week will be good for trailwork. :)

Yeah, I'm gonna go up late next week and see how some of the water diversions have held up. I know there are a couple I didn't get to that are going to cause some significant changes to the trail if it rains as much as they say.

Live storm watch with Dopler radar 7. Bob (newscaster):Looks like we are in for the big one this time,Joan. We now go to Liz (nother bubbleheaded bleached blonde) who is standing by on the 405.

Liz can you tell us about the downpour you're expericing....

Liz: Well, Bob it isn't quite raining yet but it's going to be coming down in buckets real soon. Mothers make sure your kids wear a life perserver to school, as this storm will rival the one that floated Noahs ark.

Bob: That was Liz reporting from the 405 freeway where we have just been informed there has been a major traffic accident, which was probably caused by this major downpour. Back to Liz now on the 405 freeway. Liz what happened?

Liz: Seems a driver was distracted and ran into the back of another car which caused a major domino effect. I believe we can get a word in with the person who first crashed. Liz to injured driver, What happened sir?

Driver: Well, there was this damn news van parked halfway into the slow lane and I couldn't get around it as all the folks were looking at the van trying to see what was going on and I was forced into the back of the news van and then everyone ran into everyone else.

Back to you Bob... Thanks, Liz now to news breaking story on the Global warming...

The storm dropped less then .005 of total rain.

Evelyn on KCAL is hot but Jackie Johnson on CBS2 still takes the cake. I don't believe either of them but I love watching them both!
Oh to be a piece of meat in a blonde weather girl sandwich!

I only use NOAA for my weather forecasts. all the TV people are getting their information from the same place anyway and just using their pretty smile and nice rack to relay it to you on TV.
