Same can be said for the Dodgers then. The fact is neither team is hitting or getting any production from their "big" bats, while the Yanks and Phils are hitting and getting production from A-Rod and Howard. Angel and Dodger pitching is not giving the team chance to even keep it close at times. Both teams have had close wins and a blown win and ea a blowout loss.

Holy Smokes! Talk about Troy Percival flashbacks, I think I needed a seatbelt on my couch watching Fuentes close that game.

Way to get it done Angels.

Yeah I was like they are going to blow it.

I still think they should just have hit Arod instead of walking him

Can't remember the last time I got as mad as I did when they pulled Lackey. Oh wait, it was probably when he didn't get the strike call against Posada. wow...

Hey why be nice when giving them a base. Make they pay for it.

Fuentes needs to man up and grow a pair. He almost blew it...AGAIN. IMO Weaver should have returned to pitch the top of the ninth and he also would have had to walk Pay-Rod. We got the win but it could have been a total disaster. You cannot give the Bank-ees an inch because they'll take a yard especially at their place. [-X Good luck Halos!!

in their defense, all of that would have been non existent if the ump had called that one pitch from lackey correctly. too bad he called a perfectly good strike a ball, walked a guy, and mixed up lackey enough to get in his head. just opened the flood gates....

if it had been called right, it woulda been out #2, the pop fly later woulda been out 3, and no runs would have scored.

but still, that was an amazing game. watched it from the knothole club, and I really can't talk very much right now my voice is so blown up. that and my hand is throbbing from intense hi-five action :bang::bang::beer::drunk:

Good game Angels... But please Angel fans don't blame umps, I am sick of it. The umps in this series and even in the Angel / Redsox series made bad calls but has been both ways. So please please I beg you don't use the officiating as an excuse for the Angels choking.

This has been a PSA by FYM. Thank you very much

I agree calls did go both ways in the series. Yankee fans should be complaining just as much as we are...this whole ump crew should be fired. The series has been horrible!

yes, bad call are made that favored both sides, but I havn't seen any in favor of the angels that have really changed the course of the game.

look at the replay, that pitch I'm talking about was clearly a strike (at the knees, outside part corner of the bag). I'm just saying that those 6 runs would likely have not happened without that one bad call. it's a butterfly effect.

there's been a few calls that have kept key runners on base, instead of getting them out.

naturally, I pay less attention to the bad calls that go against the yankees, but still, there have been some obviously terrible calls.

I'm kinda with drum n mtb, they needa fire the whole crew and get some people with good eyes to officiate the games...
