rode 50% of the park single track. Lizard Rock drop, Eagle Point Top (via Lynnmere loop trail), Stagecoach Bluff. All trails hard pack with some screed, float and steamers. No dust, 20 miles, 3 other cyclists, 2 dozen hikers spread out all over the park. Falls and creeks running clear and fast. Really excellent day 20 miles, no out and backs, Pucker factor went up to 9 on lizard rock, yes it got that close. (8>

I love that place.....just down the road from me. What and where is "Lizard Rock"? Is that the nasty climb where there is a wooden fence on the left hand side?

yes it is then the 600 foot drop down the other side. I took a big leap on one of the exposed bedrock sections and found the next part of the trail was full of loose floaters, I ended up skimming the downhill side of the trail where my luck held and regained the line. It could have gone either way so I rated it a 9

We rode the Wildwood park today also. Started at CLU took the out and back to the nursery, Santa Rosa trail, Stage Coach, Lizard Rock, then the trail that parallels the creek, Lynnmere, from there we took Lynn Rd to Los Arboles and backtrack on the Santa Rosa trail.
Saw a huge rattler right before the steep climb by LR.

Nice picts, Paradise and switchback climbs. That climb is so much fun with all that lava rock.

Was just there for a hike on MLK day last Monday. Had just started up the bottom of SR (well below the switches, down in the grasslands) when we noticed the folks in front of us go all heebie-jeebies because they ran into a rattlesnake. Hm. Seems a bit early for them. In any case, the season may already be upon us. Careful out there.

I used to go swimming in that waterfall and jump off them there rocks. I am not sure that water is very clean.
