I'm headed out to Bommer Ridge Saturday Dec 19th @ 9am to enjoy the wilderness access pass they are giving out to the first lucky 300 people to register. Below is a link if you need to register.

I am looking to get a group of riders together for the special treat. If you have had the privilege of riding the restricted area in the past that would be great!

I will be at the Bommer Canyon Cattle camp at 9am sharp to get my pass. If anyone wants to ride let me know!

I am boycotting any and all rides that require a "special pass" from the Irvine Ranch company!

    Special treat?

For this Thanksgiving I am thankful that the benevolent stewards of our open space have given us the privilege to tread upon it

And such open space, too! All (if you're one of those lucky 300, that is) can jump thru IRC hoops to ride miles of fire roads to ride some mediocre singletrack. Thank you IRC. I'll stick to LCWP/ElMo/Aliso, where i can ride better trails that are always open.

I feel sooo special now! My nipples just got tingly at the thought of legal one day access!

Trail lovers, this one is for you. Enjoy self-guided access in Irvine's Open Space Preserve-South. Designated trails will be open for self-guided hiking and biking (temporarily reinstated) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Anyone know what designated trails they are referring to?
