    Sorry I had to bail in the begining. My tube started losing air so I stopped to repair it. The valve stem was separating from the tube. I have no idea how that happened but the patch didn't stop the leak so I had to hike a bike from Coyote :(. Next time I will have a back pack full of tubes. Biking>Walking

    Kevin - we could start a 'slow' group on Wednesday.

    Thursdays don't work for me...I would admit, I'd prefer to play with the group riding the fully loop if I could.

    Thanks, I knew someone in our group had one, I was just so far back at that point and would have held everyone up. Definitely a good learning experience, luckily only a 3~ mile walk and not something ridiculous with no one around. #-o

    We have a smaller group going, we could leave a tad earlier.

    You can access Mathis when it is closed......you just have to go up Dripping Cave to get to the bottom of Mathis. The lower part of the road is closed just past the turn off for Coyote.
