First of all, great looking bike eric. Is it polished raw or polished ano? or what? it looks nicccceeeeee

and don't worry, I hate mark for a similar reason. I'm just stubborn and poor enough to resist

everybody ends up here in the end. it's a natural progression. with enough time, even those like Hugh will be on a DH bike :bang:

been there done that, still slightly hate. I leave the big part of the hate until I try one in my size ;)

but then it may get muddy

    Very nice Eric.

But what happens when you still have a better finish on the 6point:lol:

I rode Lee's M6 in a parking lot so I only got somewhat hooked and ended up with a SS.

Looking really good. We should get all our M6s together for some shuttles soon.

What did you use to polish it?

    That's the plan.

It started off as a raw frame. A rainy weekend and a number of late nights later...

    Yes, we should.:bang:

Started off with steel wool. Then went to 1000 grit then 1500 grit sandpaper. After that then 3 progressively finer grades of polishing compound with buffing wheels on my drill. It seemed like a never ending process. I could have kept going, but I finally got sick of the hours of polishing and slapped the stickers on it and started building.

It looks great. Did you put anything on it to preserve the polish?

I finished up with some Simichrome. If I want to keep it looking like this, it'll take occasional elbow grease.

:?: I've only ridden this bike around the alley. I've been on a DHR for the last 6 months, so my memory is a little hazy on the Sunday.

Get the links and drop-out's anodized red! You have gone this far, why stop? You have the canvas that can be the sickest m6 around.

    Awesome bike, just awesome.
