    FYI,

Everyone who purchases a USAC license gets an entry level account for free. You can then upgrade your Sponsorhouse account for a yearly fee, based on what amenities you want to add!!!

Hey Everyone I'm not sure if this is appropriate or not? Please visit our sponsorhouse page we are always looking for Mountain bikers to sponsor. We give a nice discount and have some great clothes I think.

Check it out Division 26 Clothing Sponsorhouse Page and send us an application.

I didnt see any benefit at all after joining sponsorhouse. Who wants to get a weak 10 or 15% off of things? I got better offers on my own. Unless you are somebody who doesnt have any contacts at all, its not that beneficial. I had to sign up for my helmet sponsor and thought I might get some other offers. Didnt work out for me.

They wont quit sending me emails either!

I did it for a while when I was racing dirtbikes. It is way better to hook up with a good shop and get your 25-30% back ON EVERYTHING they carry then it is to deal with sponsorhouse and get 10-15 back on a particular company. Some of the expert/pro level stuff is decent but at that level stuff should be free. Sponsorhouse is better for the companies then it is for the athletes and they stay in business for the sole reason of people saying "im sponsored". To me a sponsorship means FREE...

    Denmother's 2 cents

Wow, I must be special then, 'cause this is my 3rd year on Sponsorhouse and every year the sponsorship percentage increases (for those that I have renewed with). ;)

As far as free stuff, that dried up years ago. As amateur athletes, I think we are lucky to get anything better than 10-15% which is what you can typically get from an LBS. Good luck finding a team that will offer you more than that, especially without proven results or the 1st year that you get signed.

I suggest working on updating your profiles and making yourselves more marketable. If you can get a better deal elsewhere in this economy, more power to you. I myself am thankful for each and every sponsor that I have and even though they have dwindled over the years, I remain loyal to those that continue to believe in me.

Many thanks to SDG, e.thirteen, Hayes, Motor Tabs, Steel MX Optics, SixSixOne, Go Pro and Fluid and of course, my main squeeze The Path Bike Shop (Tani you rock)!!!! Without their support I would not have the bikes that I have nor be able to race as much as I do.

I have to agree, I'm in my second year of sponsorship and I get alot more than 15% off... and for those who don't think 10-15% off helps don't bother...... In 09 it looks like I will just have Motortabs and Fluid as sponsors thru sponsor house....but since we are giving "props" out... thanks INCYCLE and Troy Lee Designs.....

Your first year you usuallyg et little pidly sponsorships, this year, I have gotten a couple of really nice sponsorships, I have two that are Dealer cost, and the other is still just 15%.

Its cool, it puts you out there, makes it easy for you to get help keeping supplied if you dont work at a shop.
