I just saw the post for the ride, and it sounds interesting. I was debating about riding the SS there. However, while reading that the trail is SS friendly, I'm thinking of riding the bike that prompted me get a SS several years ago: my old dirt jump bike (although it's recently been the beneficiary of it's first upgrades since 2000).

Does this trail have lots of fun stuff to "pop" off of?

If we go by the BMX stuff there is tons of fun to be had on a dirt jump bike. I dont think Gene is taking us by there though.

Without full gear (full-face helmet and pads), I won't do anything big (for me), anyway.
