who wants to ride "powder canyon" today @ 3 pm

i did ti once, it was fun but i missed a good switchback trail section so... lets do it

Argh. We shoulda talked earlier in the week. I've been out there playing in the heat with minimal water. Much fun. Today's task is to load up a rather large engine, so I can't join in the festivities.

Whatever you do, don't miss the switchbacks. Another tip, after you pass the radio tower and hit the T where you would turn right, turn left instead. You can go all the way to Hacienda, Colima, and Turnbull, but I like to go only about 3/4 mile to Glass Hill. At a saddle where you can look down upon the north and south sides of the hills, there is a hidden section of singletrack that breaks off to the left.
