When you have a couple trucks. So got together with a friend of mine, and we decided to go for a ride. We made our way up the mountain, got all loaded up, hiked a time or two, drove a time or two, made soem video, and had a Blast. Met a new rider today, his name is Trevor, great guy, played tourguide and showed us a great trail for having fun. My bike was overkill on this trail, but damn it was fun. Drew went up on his STP, Trevor rocked his FS stumpjumper, I rocked the Blindside. So, the first run was interesting, I am still having issues pedalling strong, the knee is taking its sweet time healing, the guys ended up pulling away from me a bit. Ended up with a nice calf cramp in the right leg, but still was fun railing through. Caught the guys for a quick stop, leg uncramped, felt better stayed with teh fellas after that. Second run we drove up and around, well lets just say it got a bit interesting, started to rain on the way up. So we got up top, sat for a few minutes to let it soak in a bit.....and we took off. Damn did it start coming down about half way down. Seriously we were soaked through and cold belive it or not, very refreshing for mid July riding in Socal. Much faster run, got to know the trail a little ont he first run, and the legs and the knee were ready for some fun. Good times to be had, feels great getting back out and getting some real riding done. Still planning on taking it easy for awhile, but man it feels great to ride. Working on loading the video now, I will add it in a bit, its a big one, 18 minutes long. [vimeo]5725146[/vimeo]
