final straight is for jumpers with four tables (slightly scooped on top).

Congratulations on your new bike, buying a bike from Lee is almost better than a new bike. The final straight is the fun part the good thing about Whittier Narrows is the track is longer. Haven't been out to Whittier Narrows in a long time. My riding buddy for Whittier quit on me.

Hope to see you out there.

Man, it sure is great to see some of the regulars (except Carla, who it sounds like is working on her regularity ) come out of lurking to post in this thread! It sounds like we're going to be in for some good times again at the tracks.

Julia, I was surprised not to see you at Bellflower on Monday, but I now understand why. Heal up girl!

Elvia, thank you for supporting Julia's BMX habit!

jonny, do it! You'll find that you'll be back to your rippin' self on a BMXer in no time. And I'd bet the fun times will be just as good as when you were 16. Even still...don't feel ashamed that Julia may be faster until you get up to speed again (she's got gate).

Bryan, when aren't you serious? What bike do you have to ride at the track now? The old GT you had worked...but not so fitting of your bike handling skills...and body size.

Carla, for some reason, I think SuperDKim could be talked into going to the track. Tony mentioned that he wants a 4X bike.

Kim, if you're reading this, until Ko starts riding again at the track, I have an extra cruiser you can ride/race at the track!

gooseaholic seems to be absent from this thread...but I remember the last time I saw him at Bellflower. :(

Hugh, I'm quite a ways off from tigging my own BMX frame. (root beer) (I haven't been practicing lately.)

Dino, does Suggie still have her Intense? Did your brother ever buy a BMX bike?

I am missing all the fun right now Lee. Will be missing Dino's Halloween ride tonight, will not be at the Y tomorrow. I've been watching alot of downhill videos. My gates need alot of work and hopefully you and Hugh will be back to help me. My intense needs work on the front wheel it's always flat. Let me know when your going to Bellflower.

    2. I have not purchased a 26" BMX/4X bike yet
    3. I look forward to "getting" the party started again (Monday Bellflower or Tuesday Whittier Narrows... Depends on the week)

Enjoy this thread while we can, because I bet that a certain moderator will come through and delete most of it because it doesn't directly relate with the original post. ](*,):protest:

In the mean time, here are some more photos to enjoy.

I don't think stuffshredman minds one bit!

He posted the thread looking for ride buddies---
    Well... Now he's got them!

The more pics we post.... More STR members will want to join us (we have posted a lot though)

P.S.- I belive the Yellow Bike guy is Jared (aka Chongoblanco)

Thanks Mr. Shredman for starting the thread... Like I said, I haven't been on a BMX bike in 10 months!

With the time change this weekend, Wednesdays at the Y are back on for me. Watch out Parks Crew!

By the way, in the early 2000s, Whittier on Saturdays was the place to be. I can't tell you how many sessions I had out there with about ten AAs and just a handful of little kids. That place ruled for training. In the rhythm, once saw Bubba quad, yes QUAD, the four rollers after the step. INSANE! (Not sure the track is still the same)

Is Whittier Narrows NBA or ABA? I've only got an ABA membership.
