    Let's roll!
Here's the track's website with info, directions, etc.

Need to wear full pants and long sleeve shirt. I wore shorts with full length tights and knee/shin pads.. this was acceptable. Full face recommended.

If you have an ABA membership, bring your card. Otherwise, you can get a one day free trial license, a thirty day license for $25 or a full year license for $45.

I'll be on a white Intense Tazer VP with a black Troy Lee D2 full face and Fox shorts... or just look for the dood with the full-on goon style over the jumps, lining up on the gate with the pee-wees and getting schooled to the first turn...

I'm bringing my five year old for his first BMX experience. The folks at this track are really chill so it should be a fun time for him

Growing up I had a soccer coach that owned Jag, who gave me a poster of Anthony cranking a flattie that was on my wall for years.

It took me a couple years to learn how to do them, but to this day I still can. Good luck to you and your son at the track have fun.

dood, that's sweet! Those pics are identical.

My little dood had some fun. It was funny, cause he was all cocky in the car on the way. When we climbed the starting hill, he got humble real quick. He gave it a go, got a little sketched on the face of the first jump, hit is brakes and tumped it. He got back up, tho. We worked on the small whoops for the rest of the nite. Everyone was pretty cool while he learned his track etiquette.
    Proud of the little feller.

Saturday $5 dollar cruiser races, I think I am going to race 11/14. What does over 21-35 cruiser look like? or can we make a "4x" category?

This saturday will probably be pretty dead for racing at Whittier. Most racers will be at the double points race in Lake Perris (part of the series I mentioned above that does include Whittier). That's also why Bellflower will not have racing this Sat (however, Bellflower is doing some track work in the morning, so they'll welcome any workers!)

When I was there last Tuesday nite for practice, a few other 26er's were there.. and said they run a dedicated 26" class on race days. If so, that could be fun!
