Decided to enjoy Sunday with a stroll through Whiting and over to STT. At STT there was the Greeter on the rock by the gate STT is in great shape with just a few changes from the recent precipitation The day was so nice we continued past the flag and up the switchbacks towards Old Camp. While taking a break, we noticed a HUGE swarm of bees just below us starting to head our way. Jumped on the bikes and zipped down a few hundred yards getting bee'd in the face (no stings). Once we were out of the path, I could enjoy the view again. Looking back at the Flag On the way back to Whiting just noticed this old combine harvester by the stables The weather was perfect, the trails were in great shape, and a follow up lunch at The California Fish Grill made for a great day! P.S. To the jackass with the beard on the cyclocross bike that ran into me while I was climbing UP STT, I guess uphill right-of-way doesn't pertain to you??? :-k
Awesome pics.....was the guy that ran into you wearing a shoair jersey? Those shoair guys love giving tire taps climbing up stt
^^ I didn't notice what kit he was wearing and he was coming downhill when we knocked knuckles and handlebars.
