I run a 32x22t on my Monoclog. Very nice gear. It allows me to sit and pedal on the mild inclines. Still have to get out of the saddle for the steeper climbs. Yeah, I spin out on the flats.....but I would prefer to make the climbs first and foremost.

I find that I don't spin out too quickly on the flats. If you can spin, then it is really not an issue.

what a nice group of people

This was my second ride with the group. In most big groups people only take photos of their friends (there is nothing wrong with that) but the photographers here take pictures of everyone. It was really cool that someone I don't even know posted a picture of me climbing a hill. Thanks!

That was definately a well spent Sunday morning. Big thanks to Traci for organizing this ride and to her Husband Neil (how was Miguels?). I guess I am getting a little bit better at this since I don't know who is in charge of sweeping anymore but thanks to you guys as well! Its really cool seeing all those Warrior jerseys out on these rides. Once again instead of keeping to yourselves all you veterans show up and share your knowledge and skills with us rookies. Thank you. Alyssa shares my feelings and says thank you too! My son Matthew also had a really good time. He thought the "Burger King guy" was cool! Looking forward to the next one! Gene?
