I got home from work this morning and was surprised to see my roommate Chris aka chanson home. He told me he was going to ride with Jordan and Jeff and Sonya from Team Ergon. I wanted to get a ride before the impending rain so I decided to join them. We met at RockNRoad Mission Viejo.

We headed down El Toro towards so we can enter Whiting and start from 4 Corners. Jeff and Sonya had never been to Whiting so this way we could descend Cactus then Sage Brush.

Next we headed into Borrego. Everything is so green still. Looks like the Rangers have been doing some work in there as well.

We came up on this downed tree that's right on the trail. You'll have to ride in the sandy creek bed to get around it. I emailed Ranger Vickie Malton about it already.

Once we got through Borrego, we took them up to Cattle Pond. Then up Mustard and over to STT/Luge.

It was a nice mellow ride with 2 very cool people. Always nice to meet some pros and show them some of our local trails. Jeff said he has always heard of the Luge and wanted to check it out. Hopefully next time they visit, we'll have time to take them to San Juan. Good to met you Sonya and Jeff. See you next time.
