I'm also down for a potential road trip. it is a LONG drive, but there's lots of cool places to stop between here and whistler.

mendocino, bend, seattle, vancouver, etc etc...

    mmmm

Stopping at places along the way seems like such a cool idea!

I am going to the ADULT Summer Gravity Camp this year as well. Aug 2nd - Aug 9th.

Driving up with my buddy a couple days before and planning on hitting some North Shore a couple days after.

    See y'all on the hill...

I'll send out post for Mammoth & Northstar when the dates get closer. Might also like to get in a day of climbing as well. Mid 5.10s

friends and i will be looking for 2 or 3 more riders to join us. got access to a condo in mammoth(free) so we may stop there on the way up. parents have a huge log home in oregon (just off I5) if we want/need to knock off, or just shoot some pool, darts, relax in the jacuzzi, eat(all free). last year the 3 of us did mammoth for $100 each(food, fuel@$4gal, lift ticket). at this point we're looking at july but i'll post the itinerary when it's locked in......stay tuned & stay well

oh, we have a trailor but we'd be much more comfy in a larger suv :D

I think you still need a passport if you drive into Canada and back. The border crossing sucks ass, we were coming back from Whistler and had to wait 1.5 hrs and it wasn't even busy. Fly up to Vancouver and ship your bike ahead of time. You'll be glad you did.

I'm down for mammoth most of the time. I'll likely be getting a season pass during the preseason (cheaper), so I'll be happy to ride up and ride.

No thinking about it. If you want to get back into the US you NEED a passport now. And if it expires in less than 6 months, your screwed.

There are two entrances in/out of Canada - the main border crossing and the other in Blaine. We always go into Canada via the main I5 crossing and out via Blaine (which is usually shorter to get through).

I applied for my passport last week of Jan and received it in about 3 weeks. Our crew is doing the usual 4 trips to Mammoth & Northstar this year and adding WHISTLER too. :bang::bang::bang::bang:

I'll put you on the list as a possible.

Still up in the air with one of those two dates. No prefrence at this point. What would work best for you? Sleeping in car would suck! I'll add you to the possible list.
