The best local races are put together by Team Big Bear (a race organizing company) and the US Cup.

    Check them out at:

    www.teambigbear.com
    www.uscup.net

Team Big Bear puts together the official So cal championship series and the US Cup put together the national racing series with a huge number of races here is SoCal.

Another good series is at Fontana (really only big DH scene here - everything else is pretty much XC). Check it out at:

    www.southridgeusa.com

Finally, I would also suggest my personal favorite, a smaller but great series near Big Bear is at the Rim Nordic center:

    www.rimnordic.com

Would also suggest you find a local team or club to join. They can lead you through the ins and outs of racing....
