Hey everybody, my buddy and i recently started moving towards the freeride persuasion from just climbing to bomb down a gnarly descent and aside from Anderson Truck Trail, we haven't been able to find too many good trails. Any help out there? PM, please.

I would also like to hit some trails with nice flowy jumps and berms. I would also like to help build them...Information like this is held at Area 51 though.

Try moving to Norcal? Or Oregon? Or BC? Not much around here unfortunately.

You'll want to hit NASCAR at La Costa.

Whats with the Hush on Anderson truck trail? I ride there all the time. Its one of the best freeride trails around here. IMO.

It's one of my favorite trails too. Much of the land is Indian reservation, and parts of the bottom is private property. Moutainbikebill has an alternate route for the trailhead on his site to avoid the wall of bofus and it only takes a few more minutes of pedaling up the the paved road. I spoke with one of the senior folks with SDMBA and here's what he had to say about ATT.

"There is no "legal" singletrack off of ATT, the dirt road is legal to ride but there is no legal access from the bottom (Peutz Valley). You can ride the singletrack but you do so at your own risk, your biggest risk is being run over by some downhillers, not being hassled by the law or homeowners. Ride respectfully, don't worry about "Bofus" and have fun..."
