    Hello!

I'm a buddy of Roadhogs and we ride together with a small group of our buddies. Road stumbled upon some of your videos while over at youtube, checking out some of the Del Cerro vids.

I looking forward to meeting you guys/gals and to become more active in the sport by attending the rides that you host.

I'm also in the market for a new bike, so I also plan on using these rides to conduct some window shopping :p

I was last at Del Cerro on Saturday, 1PM - 3:30PM.

As far as riding conditions go, I love single track and prefer it to anything else. But if I was better at it I wouldn't mind hitting a few mild jumps here and there. But just like cartwheels, with jumps I also land on my ass.

I would like to get a free ride bike, but with being the only one in the group with a free ride bike (group that I ride with), I would be lagging behind on climbs and possibly other areas.

At first I was thinking about getting an all mountain bike, but the more I looked at it an XC bike better fits what I’m doing.

Yet for down hill and jumps an all mountain or free ride would better fit me as my skills progressed.

So basically I have no idea what I want. At least with my budget.

A few (19"/L) bikes that I have been looking at (from most affordable to most desirable)...
IBEX Asta Comp X7 (Best fits my budget)
GT i-Drive 5 2.0 (Doubt the $500 premium beats the IBEX)
Specialized FSRxc (Too much $$ IMO)
Specialized Stumpjumper FSR (Trying to see how I can afford it)
Iron Horse Hollowpoint MKIII (Higher end models eat too much of my budget)
Iron Horse Azure (Higher end models eat too much of my budget)
As far as free ride bikes go, I have only checked out the Iron Horse models. They all look bitchin and heavy.
