I got a month off of work for the holidays and have been cutting in a bunch of new lines! Feels good to get some shit done!

This is the most recent line I rebuilt. It's the line that I ruptured my spleen on!

    Nice work!

I pass through Palmdale when going to my folks' property in Kern County. It would be nice to stop-by sometime and take a look at your trails firsthand.

Hell yeah, man! Just let me know. I'll be out there rain or shine, building or riding. It's about 5 miles west of the 14 fwy on Palmdale Blvd. Truck access to the whole trail. Let me know, dude!

    Thanks for all the replies.

I still have to cut in a new line that links up with the trail, BUT, I scouted a new line with multiple road gaps/big hit capability... So, it's looking like I have some work ahead of me.

Shoot me a text if anyone ever wants to come ride. We have a lot more out this way than people know about!

Do you ride the "Chute" on the south side of the Aqueduct near Godde Hill? Someone put some nice cement lips on the kickers and built a little ladder drop. That is my favorite spot to ride locally and the dirt has been in pretty good shape lately.

Yeah, it's a cool little trail. Flowy and established, but there's a lot of foot traffic on it. Hikers putting rocks and other stuff in the middle of the trail. I built that kicker that peels to the left after that small left hip. I've rebuilt that lip so many times from people just stomping it out. So, I just mainly ride trails in the boonies.

Here's some freeride stuff we have.

Yeah, I've run across obstructions right after the rock slab crevice.

One time I pedaled up the trail to check for traps, all was clear...then on my way down there was a huge pile of rocks in that spot! Luckily I was able to j-hop over it.

There were 4 teens lurking in the area on my way up so I suspect they were the culprits. Rich from the Block Shop was out there throwing dirt and I told him what happened. Later that day I saw him and he told the teens that my son crashed hard on the rocks and I was going for help and that I was looking to put the hurt to the ones who did it. He said they started to book out of there. I haven't had that problem since!

First drop is over an old fire road. Maybe 15-20 ft long 8-10 ft drop. Ladder drop is only 5 ft drop or so, 30 ft long. Last floater is 6 ft tall lip and 33 ft long. Just started building a new line after the last floater.

Still needs some smoothing out for the run in to the step up and the berm needs another foot of dirt, but even as is it's still hittable.

The new berm is about 25-30 ft long. Some singletrack bobs down to a new lip that's about 5 ft tall.

Ha ha! I don't know where those trails are...yet! Maybe a 12er of beer will help reveal the location. Not that I could hit anything huge since I am still recovering from my back surgery.

Just about finished with the new line. Cut in a lot of it today with the help of a few buddies. Just have to cut in a few hundred more feet of singletrack. Here's the most recent. Everything from the berm is new.
