    48mph and I won't do it again.

35 and under is plenty for me.

44 mph on PCH coming home on the Grand Tour according to the illuminated hwy patrol contraption. I don't know how accurate they are for bikes.

48.6 on the Kamikaze at Mammoth on the FS, 46.5 on the HT.

I've gotten as fast as 45 on the hill from Top of the World to Mathis.

Only gotten up to 44.5 on the roadie so far. Those skinny little tires are scary.

54 on the road, on a hill in Lake Elsinore.

    I dunno about dirt, I stopped using a cycle-computer a while ago.

Speed is great, it is a sudden stop at the end that worries me.

Over 50 on the road bike. The most recent I can remember off road was last weekend coming down White Mountain - 38.9mph at 12,000ft.

Does this air help you go faster??

Same exact story for me. Cordless bike computer said 44.5 MPH top speed. Same exact limitations for me too.

50.x on a downhill road section. I don't know my fastest off road speed but probably not much I try to control me speed even going down bombable fireroads.

44 in whittier, and just the other day i broke 40 on my personal trails but these were numbers from the guy chasing me. 50 on road by way of a tow from a ford explorer, huh seems like a bad idea now that i think of it.

Wow, I guess I'm not as quite slow as I thought! Fastest on fireroad was 35; s/t, 32. I'm not sure I want to do 32 again, it seems like wiping out would hurt. But these days, it can be painful to go below 20...

But here's an idea: try night-riding! You can go slower and feel faster!

I'm just too old to be a speed demon.

48.6 on my 5.5, somewhere on the Sullivan Ridge/Westridge loop.

Still can't seem to crack 50, oh well, maybe when I get a road bike :)
