What's a good way to learn how to jump?

I would like to start jumping logs.

 

start with sticks

 

as in bunny hop them? Or do you have a jump you want to fly off of? not sure what youre asking?

 

gear up and take the slams of learning!

 

come ride the 4x track at fontana with me

 

I jumped a rabbit last night, it was a true "bunny hop". Made sense at the time, but once in the air I realized how stupid it would be if he moved where I was landing.

 

pad up & do it, but i suggest starting small(ish).

 

start small, film and study. or start big, film and study. either way.

 

First learn to fall. Trust me.

 

Buy a full face helmet pad up and do it. Spoken from a cross country doood.

Practice......or Go back in time, when being a kid didn't hurt so bad! Take what you'd a learned, and bring it with ya to the future!

Try hopscotch first when you can beat the grammar school kids move on to jumping rope.
When you think you are ready wrap your self up head to toe in bubble wrap, get a good running start
and jump that log !

 

Start by hitting those ramped cutouts in sidewalks and move up from there.

 

2 bricks and a board (1 by 6) when you've conquered that add another brick. That's how I learned.
