What Would People Pay For A Used 2011 Demo II

What would you be willing to pay for a complete Demo II with slight riding on it? The MSRP is $6100 they have a good build. Debating between testing that a 2011 Giant Glory O or the high end SX Trail II.

What is the minimum you would take for it? Shu, help me here.

 

Thinking mid to high 4's from the sound of it. It is the most expensive of those 3 bikes and I am not sure what route to take.

 

What is it you don't like about the Demo, if I may ask? It is a hell of a lot of bike for SoCal, I know. Then again, so is the Glory. I can see the point of changing to the SX Trail for riding here, as it is a little bit more of an all-rounder, and the Glory is a racing machine, but so is the Demo.

 

I run DOWNHILLNEWS and am trying to figure out our next test bike. We have a Transition TR450 coming in the next month and once we finish with it I need ti figure out the next rig.

 

Nice site, thogh I couldn't see a review of the Demo; just some pics and spec info. What did you like and dislike about the bike?

I did just see it for $7799, so mid 4s is a deal.

I havent ordered one yet. It is a little out of my price range so I was debating between the other two bikes. We have a 2011 DHR that will be built the end of next week. Then we wanted to go with a bigger companies bike like Specialized or giant etc.. So if I couldn't cover the costs of buying it by selling it I would opt for one of the cheaper bikes.

That MSRP price is kind of steep when a lot of places are blowin' out their boutique 2010 DH frames. For example, Go-Ride is blowin' out their 2010 Intense 951 for just $1899 and complete bike for $3799. It's hard to beat that deal.
