I am guilty of participating in these a couple times as well but when it comes down to it, no one is going to change their minds or opinions based on anything they have read in the forums.
I have yet to see someone say "Wow, I never thought of it YOUR way, I was wrong! You were right!"
To see a heated topic go on for 12 pages and NOTHING resolved other than folks exercising a need to voice their opinion...it's kinda stupid. Save it for the voting booth!
Group 1 and group 2 in these topics will not be converted here no matter how many stats, facts, opinions, low blows, super disses, etc, are dealt out.
If nothing else, just please realize that folks may have different opinions than you, and that's okay.
You may be drawing your own conclusion about me as you read this and you would likely be incorrect. Doesn't matter.
My vow is to avoid these topics altogether from this point forward and remind folks that there are plennnnnty of political debate forums out there for you to get your e-thug scrap on. Not to mention, a part of why we ride is to get away from BS like this.
