Tire boot = Something to put between the tire and the tube incase you slash a side wall. Dollar bills work OK but I carry a cut up section of a plastic milk jug.

Fine tooth comb and tape for catus.

Duck tape wrapped around your tire pump comes in handy...zip ties. I always carry a small flashlight, compass, bic lighter and spaceblanket...you never know!

    First aid tips...

    .44 mag.

Ya know, in case ol' 'Trigger' breaks a leg.

Comes in handy for Trail Nazi's too.....

    ;)

    I kid.

As well as the usual, I like to bring Coband, roller bandages, tongue depressers (rigid stuff for a small fracture, larger fractures you can use a Sam-splint, branch, etc) and stuff to stop bleeding.

Re: Advil etc... if someone get's badly traumatized, never give them anything by mouth, incl water.

    Snake Bite:
If less than an 30mins from help: do nothing but calm the victim, other than a cold compress in that area and keeping it low.
If more than 30 or so from help: pressure bandage a few inches above the wound (don't over tighten). Use suction cups on the area to help draw out venom. Do not use your mouth or cut the bite marks.

Ever wonder how you'd treat yourself if bitten on the behind? :-k Guess 'sucking' the wound would be out like they used to in the cowboy movies. And ya get to find out who yer friends really are.....

I only bring what fits in a seat bag since my pump is on the frame.
tube, patch kit, crank bros tool, lighter, spare link, tire lever, and a small roll of clear (super sticky) duct tape.
If I ride with a pack there is always a small pair of loppers in residence and a folding saw.

But that changed when my bud knocked 3 teeth out on Cab in the rocks....sucker bled like a stuck pig and busted his wrist.

    Whats in your camelback

Im not asking what sort of liquid is in the bladder but what else do you carry . I carry three spare tubes ,five zip ties . air pump , air cartages , patches , multi tool , leatherman tool , cel phone ,ID ,first aid kit , cliff shots , cliff bars , chain & a large folding knife . It might seem like a lot of stuff to lug around but I carry enough for me & who ever else needs some help . So what do you carry & why?

Ditto on most of the things you listed except the leatherman, first aid kit, chain and knife.

I also carry my lightweight nylon shell for chilly descents or windy conditions. I used to carry a dollar bill for flats (have heard it works in a pinch) and a comb (for removing cactus needles) though my AZ friends usually use pliers.

Depends on which pack I'm using which also depends on what ride I'm doing. I've got my minimalist pack for my quick short after work rides...nothing but a patch-kit, pump, and very small mini-tool.
Then there's the pack for 3+ hour rides, tube(s), patch-kit, bars, gu's, tool-kit, tire levers(3) seperate chainbreak, extra links and bullits, zip ties, lube, superglue, 1st aid kit, pump, rag, cell phone, knife, salt, lighter, toilet paper.....
I really should go look at it to make sure I'm listing everything and make sure that the suppies are current, but I think that just about sums it up.
Like I said, it depends on the ride, how far away from civilization I am, how long, hot or cold it is.

*almost forgot...my medical card, and I.D.

Cell phone with my familys names in the contacts in case I kill myself and some stranger finds me. Patches, pedros irons, pedros multi tool, mini pump, some sort of knife so I can cut off a jersey or sock or whatever and make a bandage.
