WHAAAASSSSUUUUPPPPP!!!!! <--- (flashbacks anyone?)

    The Long-
    Hello everyone, my name is Kevin and I moved to fullerton(down the street from the loop) about a year and a half ago. Hadn't ridden my bike in a very long time when i moved but upon hearing about the loop i decided to change that. Found it stashed in my parents garage, blew off the dust, and found my LBS. After getting the bike fixed up and ready to ride I inquired where I might find a map of the loop and was directed to STR due to the frequent newbie rides organized for the loop. Pulled up the site friday and ta-da newbie ride that saturday. LOVED IT!!! It was nice remembering how much i love riding and getting to do it again. Got to meet lots of great people (can't remember their names#-o) and had an amazing time. Yay for biking again......

    ...two weeks later my bike is stolen.

    Now given it was an oooold trek, but it was mine and still sucked to lose. So now i have and even ooolder schwinn voyagerII that i'm converting into a single speed "ride to work" bike and looking into buying either a trek marlin ss or redline monocog for hitting the trails(more on that later). I haven't been able to stop thinking about riding since that wonderful loop run and can't wait to get a new mtb and meet everyone on the trails. I'll hopefully be able to borrow a bike and meet some of you at the christmas ride on the 15th, but i'm not sure yet if i'll make it.

    So that was my longwinded intro, looking forward to talking with you all in the forums, and riding with you on the trails.
