Weekly Westside Night Ride

Mammoth is calling. I'm in for next week.

I was thinking around 6:30 but it doesn't matter to me. I'm flexible, just let me know what works for you guys.

 

I haven't heard from anyone so I'm probably going to leave whenever sounds good for me. Have fun guys! :beer:

 

I roll out right around 6:00 PM from Venice and pedal up the beach path to the Sulli Ridge trailhead. You're welcome to join me if you want to avoid driving to the trailhead. If not, then maybe I'll see you in the canyon.

 

The trail conditions are awesome right now. A little tacky and a little slippery in the leaves. If you guys haven't made it out this winter I would do it soon.

 

What's everyone's favorite route through the canyon? I've been climbing up the canyon and shooting back down on the ridge (Jedi to Squirrel), but wondering if there are better / fun routes I could look into? I come in from Playa del Rey so I like to hit it up from that side.

 

I like to go up westridge then down sullivan canyon, or go up sullivan ridge then down sullivan canyon to the horse trail.

Hey guys, I'm looking at starting some night rides again before I move to the OC. I'll probably be starting around 7pm on Weds.

 

Wednesdays are tough for me Kurtis. But I will come whenever I can!

 

7PM is good for me most days.

 

Would anybody be interested in resurrecting this ride?

Summer's back and there is a lot more daylight. Any Santa Monica / West LA folks interested in riding after work? I'm down for either the full loop up Westridge / down Sullivan or just a quick run up/down Westridge fire roads. PM me or reply if interested. I'm thinking Wednesday night might be the best day to organize - 7PM departure.
