    Even closer to Oceanside is Lake Hodges, La Costa, Calaveras, Elfin Forest, and Daley Ranch. All within 20 minutes of Oceanside.

    So anybody reccomend a local shop. Got some monies buring a hole in pocket and i want to trade said monies for a Good entry level bike in the 800 range. i was thinking the GF prianah or the Trek 6000

    You should get the bike that you feel most comfortable on. I would test a couple different bikes from different companies in your budget range and see what one you like the best.

    In Oceanside you can try Alan's Bike shop on Coast Hwy or Amazon bikes at the west end of hwy 78 next to hwy 5.
