Howdy - I'm planning a big ride this coming weekend and am planning my water strategy for our bone dry socal mts. I haven't been up Trabuco or Holy Jim lately so my question is: is there any water flowing in the streams up above the homes? I'll be dropping down off the Main Divide and probably need to filter some water at that point. If not I need to make other plans.

    thanks

I filtered at the waterfall, which was a half mile hike off the trail. Don't remember if there was water below that though.

I was just there yesterday...there's a little water near the falls, but nothing really below that. If you're patient, you can get something from the trickle near the falls.
