Washed out the front wheel in the soft stuff after a small double a couple weeks ago. Broken wrist (scaphoid in two pieces) fixed via percutaneous compression screw fixation last Friday. No final word on downtime but the average is 5 weeks.

Figured I'd post the scene of the crime as well as the current pic. Post crash rest pose will have to do until I can get the video online.

I had posted where it happened but it was removed by the moderators. Guess trail locations are to be kept secret?

it's in San Diego. think of a famous baseball player. Maybe a catcher. I don't really know.

We try to keep it off the site. There are a lot of people who get upset when we say the name. And there is also a question of legality.

Heal up. We should ride there when I'm back in SD... And your wrist is better

Sorry about the crash. The scaphoid can be a slow bone to heal, eat a healthy diet and get plenty of sleep. Hopefully your recovery will be speedy. Listen to your docs and take this chance to relax a bit.

Did they nerve block you? What was that like?

Approaching 6 months of dealing with a broken arm myself. Injuries blow.

If we're talking about TW here, then there are merged threads that mention the place by name.

And if we are talking about TW here, those other threads even explain and have links showing where the acceptable areas are to ride as stated by the those who are in charge of TW.

    Just saying...

There is a thread discussing access issues at TW, not riding TW. The posting guidelines are not a secret. Everyone is asked to review them when they join. To complain about them after the fact is lame. So go ahead and call it censorship or Pleasantville or whatever blows your dress up, but the guidelines will be enforced and those that decide to disregard them will not enjoy their time here.

True, I should have specified access, not riding.
