    Keep smiling, Kimmi. You are a trooper. As to squeamishness, people shouldn't be visiting the Rider Down forum anyway if they are too squeamish about these things.

    First dirt ride yesterday, and it definitely felt strange, but overall it just felt wonderful to be out there.:) So far, no signs of infection. Thanks for all of your warm wishes and comments. They were very uplifting! UHJ and I shall meet again come May 14th, and I plan on taking it a tad slower, (and bringing bandages and tape in my pack from here on out!)
