Watching the US Pro Cycling Challenge pre-show from yesterday. Amazing job on the cinematography so far.
I'm so glad someone else noticed! I like the blade slap from the helicopter during the aerial shots. We are spoiled aren't we? Phil did the narration on the Pro Cycling Challenge pre-race show, so hopefully at least he'll be on for the whole race. The folks on Versus really do a great job making it interesting with the scenic shots, cycling tidbits, etc....not to mention, they almost always know the rider that's being shown on the screen.
I've had email conversations with a Universal producer asking that they cut the helo noise out. Don't know if they'll be any progress; but he did seem receptive to my concern. My line to him was "I know that those aerial shots are done with a helicopter - you don't have to beat me to death with it!"
