Starts next weekend (29th) does anyone know of any coverage for this? I'm thinking Ivan Basso will win it for Liquidgas.
Looks like Universal Sports is gonna cover it for the next couple years. I just wish they had an HD channel. http://www.steephill.tv/2009/vuelta-a-espana/
Cool I have one of those cool digital converter boxes and universal sports is on channel 4.4. I get it for free yes.
Looks like the riding will suck so I'm hoping I can find it somewhere to watch. I think Basso will win it but I'd love to see Chris Horner win it.
Godammned Time Warner. Ch 226, Universal Sports is showing a local spanish channel instead of the Vuelta. It's been two days now, argh. I'm on the phone with them... Uverse is looking more attractive, considering the TW's high prices and cruddy performance.
Post what you find out, I went to watch my DVR'd Vuelta, and got some 60s spanish western playing back.
Crash coverage from today's stage... took out a lot of contenders, including the maillo oro...
I don't know the issue, but it doesn't affect any other channels that I'm aware of. It would seem odd that a fire takes out only one channel?
Agreed, since Universal Sports is a digital NBC channel, you'd think all the NBCs would be affected. Not to mention that if Universal Sports gets affected, how is it that spanish programming appears in its place unaffected?
the easy way to find out would be if someone that has an over the air antenna turns to 4.3 or 4.4 (I forget which) and see if Universal Sports is on.
this is happening with Cox Cable as well...someone told me that they wanted more money for the channel and the cable company didnt want to pay so they pulled it...not sure as i havent been able to verify this (article was in LATIMES)
i dunno the person that told me isnt into cycling etc so you maybe right...seems too much of a coincidence though
